SPMU Eyeliner & Lashes IN GRANTHAM – APPOINTMENT INFORMATION

All Semi-Permanent Eyeliner and Eyelash Enhancement appointments are completed in 2 stages:

The initial treatment
A top-up treatment one month later.

All appointments take place in my lovely studio space on 7 Cold Harbour Ln, Grantham NG31 9EW.
Eyeliner costs £220 and Eyelash Enhancement costs £190. Both prices include an initial consultation, a skin patch test, the procedure itself and a top-up appointment 5-13 weeks later.
A deposit of 50% will be taken when you book with the remaining balance due on the day of your first appointment.
Once your booking is confirmed, I will post a skin patch test which you will need to complete before your appointment.
Your first Eyeliner appointment will last 3-3 ½ hours and includes your consultation. The top up treatment 5-13 weeks later will take no longer than 2 ½ hours.

SPMU Eyeliner & Eyelash Enhancement Pre-appointment Care

Prior to your appointment:

Please do not wear any make-up or mascara on the day of your appointment
If you usually wear contact lenses please make sure you remove these before your appointment
Do not wear any eyelash extensions and ensure these are removed at least 2 weeks before your appointment
Avoid working out 24 hours before the procedure
Avoid sun and tanning for one week prior to your appointment
Avoid drinking tea, coffee, alcohol or energizing drinks on the day of the appointment
Avoid Omega3 (fish oil) for one week prior to your appointment

It is important that you please advise prior to your appointment if any of the following pre-existing conditions apply:

You are pregnant or are breast feeding
Undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy
Have a serious illness such as Cancer or Leukemia
Are currently taking Accutane, Rentin A or Warfarin
Have a blood disorder (high/low blood-pressure or clotting)
Have a blood born virus (HIV or Hepatitis ABCD)
Scar easily or have tendency to keloid
Bleed easily
Have alopecia
Are anaemic
Are diabetic
Have epilepsy
Are prone to fainting attacks
Have any anesthetic allergies
Have Lupus
Have heart problems
Have any immune system deficiencies
Have any metal/iron oxide allergies
Have excessively oily skin

SPMU Eyeliner & Eyelash Enhancement Post Appointment Care

If you experience any swelling after your appointment apply an ice pack wrapped in a clean cloth to help prevent bruising
Do not wear contact lenses for about 5 days after your appointment
Be careful not to get the area wet for the first 7-14 days. During this time, you might find it easier to wash your face with a wet cloth or cleanser to avoid getting excess water around the eye area. If the area does get wet, dab dry.
Avoid any swimming activities for the first 7-14 days
Steer clear of steam. Avoid hot tubs, hot baths, saunas or jacuzzis for at least a week.
Avoid sun tanning and/or salon tanning for the first 10 days after your treatment (Please bear in mind if you have a holiday booked)
Avoid applying mascara until the area is fully healed
Other than gentle cleaning, try to avoid touching the area until fully healed
Avoid any laser or chemical treatments and avoid using creams which have retinols or glycolic acids on the face and neck
Avoid scratching or picking at any flaking and allow your eyeliner to heal naturally

SPMU Eyeliner & Eyelash Enhancement Healing Process

The semi-permanent tattoo brow healing process works in multiple stages. Throughout this time, colour change or colour loss is to be expected as the skin heals. The true colour will not come though until about 4 weeks, which is when your touch-up appointment will be due.

Day 1-2: Soreness or swelling in the eye area should be expected and the colour will appear quite dark. If you are experiencing swelling, use a cold compress (such as a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a clean cloth) to avoid any bruising.
Day 3-10: During this time you can expect your eyeliner to fade somewhat and start to flake. It is important not to scratch or rub the eye area and just allow the treatment to heal naturally. Do not worry about any colour loss, this is all part of the healing process. After day 10, most normal activity can be resumed as the first part of the healing process is complete and the colour will have returned.
Day 30: Your liner should now be completely healed. Remember to attend your top up appointment. This should take place no later than 5-13 weeks after your first appointment.
